The first interview as a Trentino Volley’s new opposite for Luca Vettori.
Welcome Luca, why did you chose Trento to continue your career?
“The project is stimulating from both the agonistic and the human points of view. I will have the chance to get to know a new company, which has always respected me when I was playing in opponent teams, alongside people I already know well. That’s why I’m very excited and I’m ready to live a season full of great moments, not only from an agonistic point of view”.
What influence has had the presence of Lorenzetti on your choice?
It has definitely influenced my choice; I respect Angelo as coach and as person. I have a good feeling with him that will help me to get better into this new team”.
In Trento you’ll find many players of the National Team
“This will be a strong point because I shared important experiences with people like Pippo, Simone and Max in the national team and it’s always wonderful to meet also during the season and not only during the summer”.
Which are your objectives after signing with Trentino Volley?
“I want to keep on growing in my career, and so in Trento I’d like to try to become more leader than I already am and a complete, stronger player. I’d love to complete this process with Lanza and Giannelli; if we become all leaders, it would be very positive for everyone”.
Do you want to send out your first message to your new fans?
“Sure; personally, the supporters of Trento have always respected me when I was playing in opponent teams, first with Piacenza and then with Modena. I thank them for the respect they showed me in the past and for that they’ll show me in the near future. I hope to meet them soon”.
