Trentino Volley finds access to the European Cup final After four years since their last qualification in it. After the three back to back victorious matches in the CEV Champions League between 2009 and 2011, the yellow-blues club is capable to achieve the 2015 CEV Cup in the second week of April, that will enrich its already prestigious four world titles in the international record.
With this victory, ENERGY TI Diatec Trentino will play two matches against Dinamo Moscow on April 7th in Trent, and on April 11th in Russia, thanks to their 2nd success, which was gained within four days against the Polish Zaksa KÄ™dzierzyn-Koźle team. The win in Palatrento, which started on Tuesday evening in Poland, guaranteed this. largely due to a more consistent performance in the attack and with no errors, which has highlighted the strength of Kaziyski at the serves (8 personal aces against a single mistake, 18 points overall to deserved the mvp), the excellent moment of Solé (6 blocks and 89% in attacks) and the constant growth of Birarelli’s condition (4 blocks and 60% in the first half). The Poles showed their fighting spirit by reopening the match in the second set and fighting till the last in the third one, before leaving definitively the stage in the fourth set. The Dutch couple Van Dijk (another 17 points) and Abdel-Aziz tried to keep the guests excited, but after a along play they surrendered, not aided by the rest of the team.
Now Trento is celebrating their achievement of the second seasonal final: after the one played in the Italian Cup in Bologna on January 11th, but there is room for another couple of matches, that will award an even more important and prestigious trophy such as the 2015 CEV Cup.
