Lorenzetti analyzes the new team: “An overhauled Diatec Trentino, with the right features to offer a fast volleyball”

“Trentino Volley has played a central role in many purchase and sale operations of the market that has just ended had Trentino Volley; besides the satisfaction for having created such a valuable team, I’m glad in particular for the atmosphere that surrounds us in a period full of changes – explained Trentino volley’s coach Angelo Lorenzetti commenting the end of the yellow-blue negotiations -. I worked with the staff executive sharing all useful ideas to overhaul the team. We’ll understand if we have made the right choices over time, but the most important thing now is to begin working to create the team identity before the game one; we know we may face difficulties on our path and there will be curves that will inevitably slow down our speed but we don’t have to be afraid to face them. We chose specific players to try to offer once again a fast volleyball; from this point of view, the first task for Giannelli will be creating the right feeling with the new spikers. At the same time we’ll have to develop a good reception. The staff has been overhauled too and I’m confident. I know and I’ve already worked with Petrella, Boninfante, Guazzaloca and Russo and I’m sure we can face the needs of the team”.
“While we’re not playing any match yet, it’s difficult to understand what position Trentino Volley will rank in this championship; the market has changed many different teams and we’ll figure out this only on the field. Maybe those sport clubs that haven’t changed much their team will be more favored at the beginning, for examples Civitanova and Perugia that have preserved the structure of their sextets. Our most important negotiation? I think De Pandis can be a good solution to replace such a fundamental player as Colaci; in fact, we knew we could face some difficulties selling Colaci to Perugia, but Daniele has been the right choice to have an high-quality libero among our players”.
