The new year of men's volleyball officially kicks off with the activities of the National teams: it starts in fact tomorrow, on Tuesday, January 5th, in Berlin (Germany) the Olympic qualifying tournament for eight European selections that until Sunday, January 10th will look for the pass for Rio 2016. Also two players of Trentino Volley will be two certain protagonists: Georgi Bratoev with the jersey of Bulgaria and Simon Van de Voorde with that of Belgium.
The possible derby between the two yellow-blues in the German capital could take place, however, possibly just on the weekend, dedicated to the final and semi-finals. In the first phase of the event (which allocates only to the winner the qualification for the olympic games, while only the second and the third will have a further opportunity at the end of May), the middle one will play the Pool A, which sees vying even the hosts of Germany (which will face tomorrow at 6.00 pm), Poland (to challenge on January 7th, at 3.00 pm) and Serbia (match scheduled on Friday 8th at 2.00 pm). The Bulgarian setter instead will play the Pool B, playing in rapid succession against Finland (on January 6th, at 3.00 pm), Russia (on January 7th, at 6.00 pm) and France (on January 8th at 5.00 pm).
The teams that will qualify to the crossed semifinals on Saturday 9th, will be the top two of each group; the final will be played on Sunday 10th at 4.30 pm. All matches of the tournament will be broadcasted live on www.laola1.tv, internet site partner of CEV.
