The muscle tenderness of Lanza’s right quadricep, already shown during last week, won’t let Lanza to participate at the last weekend of matches of Intercontinental Round of World League 2017. The captain of Trentino Volley will in fact have to skip the away match in Belgium with his National Team, which between Friday 16th and Sunday 18th will be in Anversa to play versus France (the hosting team) and Canada.
The other three yellow-blue players who participated at the first part of the Italian National Team’s season and who are regularly available are Oleg Antonov, Simone Giannelli and Luca Vettori. Together with their teammates they will try to reverse the trend after four defeats in a row, which relegated Italy to the last but one place in group 1 ranking, minimizing the chances to qualify at the Final Six of Curitiba.
