Diatec Trentino is already back at work at PalaTrento. The day after the success (3-0) against Arkas Izmir in the 2018 CEV Champions League, the yellow-blues immediately got back to training to prepare the team for Sunday’s match at PalaOlimpia in Verona.
“We get to this appointment with a lot of faith and confidence in our tools thanks to our last great victory – said Simone Giannelli going back to PalaTrento – We needed a successful performance in order to boost our position after the defeat against Civitanova; we’re happy to catch up with our path and to have won especially because we worked as a team. In this respect, Calzedonia Verona is very strong and, even for this reason, it’s very difficult to say which player stands out because the achievements of every single player are the result of the whole team’s support; a fortiori, we’ll face a very difficult match but we have what it takes to win it.” The yellow-blues will complete the preparation for the match with Saturday’s training; on that occasion Angelo Lorenzetti will evaluate Hoag’s physical conditions in order to understand if the Canadian player could be ready to play in a match that is a real fight to obtain the fourth position. Both teams lost during their last match of SuperLega and there’s a gap of only two points between the rivals. The match will start at 06.00 pm and it’ll be broadcast live on Radio Dolomiti and on Lega Volley Channel.
