The yellow-blues previous knockout in four sets in front of their fans, ended their winning streak of 18 consecutive games, and now they are back in training, forced to perform a huge undertaking to hold their eighth international trophy of all time (or the fourth European). The Trentino Volley must win four sets (three of the regular game plus the next golden set) while conceding at the most one to their opponents.
"We face a very difficult match, but I like difficult things and I guarantee that there will be no surrender to the end, the team and I take it as a challenge to try to bring home the trophy even after the defeat in the first leg match and we will give it all we got” - said Radostin Stoytchev - . “We did not play the first leg in the best possible way; especially in the fourth set, we could not take advantage of the opportunities that we have built, a little 'thanks to their defensive intensity and a bit' for our demerit. But we can and we want to play better."
The team arrived in Moscow, late afternoon this Thursday, with thirteen players along with Their, while Djuric remained in Trento since he can not be entered on the scoresheet. They will train at the Sports Palace in Moscow in the early evening today but tomorrow morning they will play their classic finish, and find the reference points in a structure that may contain more than seven thousand spectators since that Saturday will be full.
FOURTH ‘AWAY’ GAME EVER IN RUSSIA IN THE HISTORY OF TRENTINO VOLLEYBALL starting Thursday morning and ending Sunday afternoon commences the fourth trip ever to Russia in the history of Trentino Volley, then returning to Trento around 4PM on April 12th. In that country the Yellow-blues Club never got a victory, having previously played in Moscow against Dinamo, January 5th, 2010 (3-1 defeat in the first game of the second round of Pool A) and January 15th, 2013 in the the Playoffs 6 (3-2 loss) and Belgorod (February 5th, 2014, 0-3 defeat in the going of the Playoffs 6).
THE TRENTINO VOLLEY WINS THE TROPHY IF... The 2015 CEV Cup is awarded in the final interval of the two games, while maintaining the same regulation of the previous five rounds double shifts (round trip) matches (a Round - already played in November -, Eight - already played in December - Quarter-finals - played in January - Challenge Round - went on stage at the beginning of March - Semifinals - in late March) knockout wins the trophy of the team with most points over two matches, as assigned in the league: 3 for win 3-0 or 3-1, 2 for the successful tie-break, one to defeat the tie-break (golden set to 15 in case of equal points - the same system of 12th Playoffs of CEV Champions League). After losing their first leg 1-3, the only way to win the trophy, the ENERGY TI Diatec Trentino must impose a maximum of four partials in the regular match, emulating the number of points scored, and then to win the golden set (fraction playoff on the 15th point). Dinamo can triumph even in the event of their ‘home’ match loss in the tie break.
PREVIOUSLY Between the two teams there are seven matches in file, and that number places Dinamo Moscow in first place in the ranking of most foreign team faced by Trentino Volley in their history. The outlook favors yellow-blues for 4-3 including the five games played in the Champions League and the World Cup in 2010. Trento won 3-0 two games at Campo Neutro in Lodz, on May 2nd, 2010 and in Doha on December 16th of that same year, but has never conquered the Sport Palace in Moscow. The previous two matches are actually defeats: 1-3 on January 5th, 2010, to January 15th, 2013. 2-3
REFEREES The match will be arbitrated by the Croatian referee, Dusan Hodon from Zilina, and Hungarian referee Laszlo Adler from Budapest.
