Trentino Diatec block against Padar attack

It Start with a great success the seventh adventure in the CEV Champions League for Trentino Volley. After 630 days from the last game played earlier in this competition, the Italian champions have opened it in the best possible way their path in Pool C, being at the head of the Belgian Noliko Maaseik in a match that in the eve didn’t appear that simple.
The signal given by the team of Stoytchev to the opponent was instead loud and clear and similar to the one already offered in Super League: despite the absences, the problems related to a new type of game and the lack of opportunity to train, the Yellow-blues are in fact able to find the key to the problem and strongly fight, counting on the usual immense character of this young squad, who can find alternatives in the house they have built. In this way, the opposing team has been overwhelmed with an amazing 3-0, came at the end of a very shrewd performance between blocks (9 winning ones) and attacks (just three errors directed against 55%) and very positive in the second line, where Colaci exalted himself in defense and reception (75%). Protagonists of the victory in three sets were also Giannelli (very inspired in direction), Van de Voorde, who was evidently spurred by the comparison with the team he grew up with (71% in the first half and a sign with 2 blocks) and especially an explosive Djuric, who tonight has put aside the physical problems, achieving 13 personal points (best scorer of the match) and placing two blocks: MVP of the match. Once again Trentino Volley is the winner in the CEV Champions League debut (splendid 7 of 7) and now looks forward to the first big match of Super League, scheduled on Sunday in Perugia.
