Trento, February 1st, 2015

The despotic victory obtained Saturday evening at the PalaTrento in the twenty-fifth Adige derby allowed the ENERGY T.I. Diatec Trentino to close the month of January with a smile. The yellow-blue team filed the first period of the 2015 with the seventh victory out of nine games played finding itself at least for twenty-four hours (tonight Modena faces Milan with the objective of getting back to the lead alone) on the lead of the ranking of the Premier League UnipolSai. The best way to delete in only one blow the defeat of last Sunday in Molfetta and the k.o. in the home game (the only one in the whole round), actually against the same Calzedonia. The positive PalaTrento factor was confirmed in the hardest moment, offering its fans the eleventh victory in just as many seasonal games played among the friendly walls. The memory of the difficult stop suffered three months ago at the PalaOlimpia of Verona was still very clear in our minds, and it was useful to us as a further incentive to have a very determined approach to the game - explained to the Trentino Volley TV the Argentinian central player of the Sebastian Solé, among the best of the match - . We wanted the re-match at all costs and on the court we moved well to obtain the result we hoped. We remained focused to the match on every single pass, showing to have our objective very clear; even a defeat like the one that we had had to collect last Sunday in Molfetta can then be useful if then we demonstrate to know to react in this way. A k.o. like that maybe has helped us to mentally free us and to restart with even more determination and rage".
“Personally -  Solé continued -  I am happy for the number of blocks we realized (at the end 6 - personal seasonal record, editor’s note) in this game, also because they always arrived at the most favourable time, i.e., when Verona was trying to catch up. During the last period, we have taken advantage of the absence of weekly matches to work harder in the gym, not only on this fundamental one, but also on the attack that at first went very well. I improved my understanding with Zygadlo, and I believe that the results were visible, but we can still grow more, by taking advantage of this month with no CEV Cup challenges and the right spirit that has characterized the training week for the match.
The ENERGY T.I. Diatec Trentino will rest until Tuesday morning, day when Radostin Stoytchev set the new round of training at the PalaTrento to begin to prepare for the next match of the regular season on Sunday February 8th at the Forum of Assago against the Reviver Milan (live on Sportube tv and Radio Dolomiti from 6pm).
