The 2017 edition of World League begins on Friday June 2nd, organized by FIVB each year and where the world best National Teams play. 
The last season's play formula has been confirmed: 36 subscribed teams and the first phase (named Intercontinental Round) that will consist in just three weekends of matches. As in the previous editions, the National teams have been divided in three groups according to the ranking list and the results gained in the last years: all of it to balance match and  performance. In the first group there are Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, France, Italy, Serbia, Iran, Poland, Russia e USA: these teams will bring energy to three Pools during  three weeks of matches scheduled in a different city each day; the 24 remaining National teams will play according the same formula but in the second and third group tourney. Brazil will enter  the  Final Six of Curitiba (Brazil), scheduled between July  4th and 8th, as hosting country and then only the first five teams in the ranking list taking into account only the results of the first round.
There are seven players of Trentino Volley subscribed to the International Competition: the yellow-blue will be potentially represented by Oleg Antonov, Simone Giannelli, Filippo Lanza, Luca Vettori and Tiziano Mazzone (not convened for the first weekend) and by  Eder Carbonera (Brazil) and Jan Kozamernik (Slovenia), the only player not committed during the first round of the tourney (its National team will play during the second one).
The first weekend will see players of Diatec Trentino playing against each other in Pesaro, Italy: on Sunday 4th at 2 pm at Adriatic Arena will be played Italy vs Brazil and a yellow-blue derby between Eder and Antonov, Giannelli, Lanza and Vettori, that will be broadcasted on  RAI 2. However, the Italian debut will be  on Friday 2nd at 8 pm, against Iran (streaming on RAI Sport since 11 pm) and the day after, Saturday 3rd at 2 pm it will play against Poland (live on RAI 2). Kozamernik will play in Seoul (Korea) against Finland (Friday, 9 am), the home team (Saturday, at 6 am) and Czech Republic (Sunday, at 5).
