The turn of events that will staged on Sunday, December 13th in the regular season of  2015/16 Super League UnipolSai, will close the first round and at the same time define unambiguously the board of the Final Eight of the Del Monte Italian Cup 2016, on which there is still uncertainty as to the maximum possible combinations in the quarterfinals.
The matches played on the day of the Immaculate were in fact only useful to decree which one were going to be the seven of eight participating teams and, among these, which will play the role of series (already sure of playing the second leg matches of the quarters finals at home). to the Final Eight will take part in fact Lube, Modena (already certain to occupy one of the top two places), Trento, Verona, Perugia, Molfetta, Latina and Monza (or Padova). None of these six teams, however, is sure of their final position, which is why only on Sunday evening you will know the true opponent that Lanza and teammates will challenge in the double-round (first leg on December 22nd, 2015 at the home of the worst classified, second leg on January 14th at the home of the best classified) of the quarter-finals that awards the pass to the Final Four of the Mediolanum Forum of Assago (Milano, on February 6th and 7th). The combination of results in the last round are so numerous as to allow any possibility.
Thanks to the success in Verona, Diatec Trentino regained the third place but knows already to not be able to aspire to a further leap forward; to maintain this precious placement, on Sunday the Italian champions will need a victory of any score against Lube, considering that even in the case of equal points with Verona and Perugia (fourth with one point behind), the Yellow-blues remain in front for most number of victories (nine to eight). In that circumstances  Trento would challenge the sixth ranked at the end of the first round (Molfetta or Latina, because also Monza on the same points level of these two, would still have a worst quotient set); if instead Trento would loose the third position in favor of the fourth or fifth, will challenge again Verona and Perugia, with home advantage to be determined depending on the placement of their own and those of the two opponents. Matter of a few days and you will have only certainties.
