Moscow (Russia), April 9th, 2015
After Serbia, Israel, Romania, Belgium and Poland, the European season campaign of Trentino Volley has reached Russia. The yellow-blues arrived for the last leg of the 2015 CEV Cup, late afternoon today, having endured a long journey for eight hours that started at 8:45 this morning at PalaTrento.
In the Russian capital Birarelli and teammates will search for a way to give them the eighth international trophy in their history: for the return match to take place in Trento for the 2015 CEV Cup this Sunday, they must win a maximum of four partials, and eventually reach the golden September which is a difficult task in the presence of Dinamo Moscow which has already proved its strength in the first leg on Tuesday night.
The ENERGY TI Diatec Trentino in its previous 3 matches which they played in Russia has never picked up a victory, leaving 0-3 defeat in January 5th, 2010 in Moscow, and 2-3 in January 15th, 2013 at home and 0-3 at Dynamo Belgorod in February 5th, 2014.
Mitar Djuric is not part of the group, since he was not registered on the scoresheet for this competition, but there is Sebastiano Thei who had missed the previous five European away games of the season (starting with Novi Sad, Tel Aviv, Craiova, Roeselare, Kedzierzyn-Kozle). Radostin Stoytchev will choose one of the last thirteen players excluded from the CEV list to play on the eve of the match.
