Trento, November 6th 2017

Calzedonia Verona wins the 30th Adige derby against Diatec Trentino; the team from Verona defeated Yellow-blues in PalaTrento for the fourth time in its history.
Former Trentino players Nikola Grbic and Emanuele Birarelli confirmed their positive attitude towards away games (three wins out of three matches) and brought home three points after defeating home team for 3-1. Lanza and his teammates fought hard throughout the whole match and kept close to the opponent, conceding too many chances to Verona and suffering in defense. After going under 2-0, Kovacevic lead the team to a comeback with 13 points and 43% in attack, winning the third set by far. Verona didn’t back down though and found the effective countermaneuvers to Diatec’s attacks before closing the match in the fourth set. Among Trentino players Lanza, with 13 points, was the last to surrender, supported by Teppan who substituted the struggling Vettori.
