Klemen Cebulj is already in Trento

Of the four Trentino Volley players who were in Berlin this week for the qualifying tournament for the Olympics, Klemen Cebulj is the first to be back in Trento. Less than 24 hours after the defeat of his Slovenia 2-3 in the semi-finals against Grebennikov’s France, Itas’s spiker was at the BLM Group Arena for a short session of separate training with the physiotherapist Alessandro Russo, while the rest of the team was busy with the workout with the ball scheduled for today’s training.
“I immediately came back to Trento because it felt like the right thing to do, also considering the many appointments that we have starting from next week – he explained to Trentino Volley Tv - . The match we lost on Thursday evening against France meant a lot, it was sort of a final for us, but we haven’t been able to make the most of this occasion. But we’ve gotten that far in the tournament and that is a source of pride because it wasn’t taken for granted at all; we went through an important period anyway and we must hold on to the good things that we showed. Grebennikov was in great shape, before the match we joked a bit to defuse the tension. He will be back in the gym on Monday, ready to start together the journey towards the best possible results in the next months of championship. We have many away matches ahead of us, but compared to my teammates I have the advantage of having kept up the pace also during Christmas break”.
