Gas Sales Piacenza-Itas Trentino, the Final Match report

Match report. The two teams restart from the lineups used for the most of the time during the semifinals the day before: Itas Trentino shows up with Sbertoli as setter, Kaziyski as opposite, Lavia and Michieletto as hitters, Podrascanin and D'Heer as middle players and Laurenzano as libero; Gas Sales Bluenergy replies with Brizard as setter, Romanò as opposite, Lucarelli and Leal in position 4, Caneschi and Simon as middle players, Scanferla as libero. The start is a back and forth; the two teams immediately put a lot of agonism on the court, often alternating in the lead (7-5 and 7-9); hereinafter, Lucarelli is unstoppable, signing almost alone with serve and counterattack the Emilian stretch (10-13). Trento with Kaziyski goes back up to 15-15, then suffers another break fulfilled mainly by Leal (15-18, Lorenzetti calls time out), which actually creates the gap (18-21 and 22-25) that sends the two teams to the change of sides on 0-1 for Gas Sales Bluenergy.
On the wave of enthusiasm Piacenza gets off to a great start in the second set as well (0-4, 5-10), hoisted to a maximum lead by an inspired Lucarelli and by Simon who blocks out everything at the block. Lorenzetti calls Lavia back on the court at the place of Džavoronok (the changeover took place in the final part of the previous set), but the music does not change because the opponents are very determined and do not give anything away (13-17), quickly conquering, thanks to Leal, as always, the 0-2 that comes already on 17-25.
In the third set the balance lasted only until 7-7, with Itas Trentino holding the court well with Kaziyski and Podrascanin. Piacenza then accelerates again with Leal and Simon (7-10 and 12-15). Kaziyski, almost alone, tries to reopen the match (16-17); Piacenza replies again with Leal (21-24), who closes the match on the third chance with a winning attack (23-25) touched by the block.
