Padua, Soli: "A significant and important first leg"

"The team managed to complete a significant and important first leg despite not showing great volleyball this evening - Itas Trentino coach Fabio Soli said at the end of the match - ; I did not expect such a drop of focus in this match, in which we objectively struggled a lot to show what we are capable of. But the players are not robots and still managed to win the whole points. Our night was not easy, at times we were in serious difficulty in reception and attack and we compensated for these kinds of shortcomings with block and serve. In the coming days we will try to regain our game, because what we have done so far deserves to be continued in the best possible way. Today's game, although won, is a wake-up call that should be listened to, especially in view of the next difficult challenges with Cisterna and Verona."
Itas Trentino returned in Trento during the night and, starting Thursday, will begin preparing for their next official match in the league: scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 30, at 6 p.m. at the ilT quotidiano Arena against Cisterna di Latina (first round of the second leg).
