Trento, December 28th 2017
After the home victory against Monza, Diatec Trentino players enjoyed Wednesday off and returned to PalaTrento on Thursday for training and preparing the first match of the second leg of 2017/2018 SuperLega UnipolSai. In preparation of the game in PalaYamamay in Busto Arsizio, home arena of Revivre Milano, the staff organized a double session of training, with weights and individual technique in the morning and team play in the afternoon, and the players trained for the last time in PalaTrento in 2017.
On Friday the team will move to Milano in order to have the last training session before the match in the afternoon, on the court where the match will take place. The match against Revivre will see the seventh and sixth teams in the rank facing each other, divided by only one point, and the start is scheduled at 4:30pm, with live streaming on Radio Dolomiti and Lega Volley Channel (pay streaming at www.elevensports.it/live ).
“We have to solve some issues we have when we approach the games, especially in PalaTrento where we always lost the the opening set - told Luca Vettori to Radio Dolomiti after the match with Monza -. Against Gi Group we were lucky and able to come back from a difficult and complicated situation, but we can’t always hope to win after being behind, especially against very competitive teams like Milano”.
“It won’t be a match like the others to me - said former Milano player Nicholas Hoag -; last season I played in Busto Arsizio with Revivre Milano, it’s been a not so easy time of my life, but very useful, it really helped me. I am happy I can get to see so many important people again, people who were fundamental for my first year in Italy; it’s going to be a very delicate match, because we both are two good teams and the points at stake are heavy”.
