Great start of the year in Perugia! Itas Trentino wins by 3-1 at home of the top team

2021 begins well for Itas Trentino. Following the great performances of the last month of 2020, tonight the gialloblù formation won by 3-1 the big match of the seventeenth round of regular season SuperLega Credem Banca at the Pala Barton in Perugia.
The tenth consecutive success, taken on the traditionally difficult field of Sir Safety Conad (before today conquered only one time in the last six years), arrived at the end of a great performance by Angelo Lorenzetti’s team which, besides the technical and tactic qualities, combined important behavioural qualities; those needed to win the first set that has become even more difficult after a good start and overturn in its favour a third partial that the gialloblù were losing by 7-12.
On the top Captain Giannelli, author of an excellent performance in directing for having been able to run the entire attack front at 51% of the team on the field of the top team, rationing well the balls for Nimir (14 points and MVP of the match), Lucarelli (16 with 59%, two aces and one block) and at the centre of the net for Lisinac (11 with three blocks) and Podrascanin (9 with 78% during the first half and two blocks).
