Sixth week of preparation closed with 3-1 on Padova in the joint training at PalaTrento

The sixth week of pre-championship preparation is closed with the first seasonal win for Itas Trentino, even though in an unofficial context. This afternoon, the yellow blue have won by 3-1 against Kioene Padova in the joint training (behind closed doors) at the BLM Group Arena.
Beyond the positive result, which in any case offers even more spirit and motivation, Angelo Lorenzetti’s team has shown promising signals of growth as compared to the previous test match played on Wednesday in Modena. The fact that four out of five attackers of the regulars have gone in double figures (and Podrascanin almost touched it, stopping at 9 with three blocks and 60% in the first half) tells well how Sbertoli has adequately moved all his attackers. Particularly in evidence two Champions of Europe: Daniele Lavia closed the test as best scorer with 14 points (of which one block and two aces), while Giulio Pinali scored 12 with extraordinary attack percentages (75%); at last, a good confirmation for Kaziyski (11 with 62%) and Zenger, much ready in the second line.
Padova, presented itself on the field without the regular Zimmermann (the captain), has suffered the yellow-blue attitude in the first two sets and a half, showing better quality in its game in the final part, in which both coaches have alternated all their players.
