Verona, Lorenzetti: "It was a hard-fought match"

"It was a hard-fought match, in which we came very close to taking home the victory," explained Itas Trentino coach Angelo Lorenzetti after the match -. As we imagined on the match’s eve, there were moments in which we suffered from their physicality, especially on the serve; we only disbanded at the end of the third set, while during the rest of the match the team never gave up. In the final result we were penalised for not having managed some serving and counter-attacking situations well, but that's normal since we are only at the beginning of the season. We hold on to the point won on a very difficult court like Verona's, knowing that our calendar foresees other very demanding matches in quick succession".
Itas Trentino will return to train at the BLM Group Arena on Monday morning to inaugurate the preparation period that will lead the team to play their third regular season match on Sunday 16 October in Piacenza (8.30 pm).
