After a week off, the 2016 CEV Volleyball Champions League DenizBank starts again. Tomorrow evening, on Wednesday, December 2nd, in PalaTrento will be in fact played the third round of the League Round of the most important continental event for the club, the second home one for the Yellow-blue team that will challenge the French Tours Vb, in comparison to the top of Pool C. The kick off is scheduled at 8.30 pm, broadcasted live on on Fox Sports tv and Radio Dolomiti and live streaming on www.laola1.tv.
HERE TRENTINO DIATEC The final home success got on Sunday against Latina, it had the merit to erase the defeat of six days ago in Molfetta and raise the Super League ranking for the Champions of Italy, which open tomorrow evening the month of December full of big matches. The home match against Tours is in fact the first in a series of decisive events that will be played in the next twenty-two days; the six points at stake in the challenge of PalaTrento and one on Wednesday 16th in France, will probably determine the first place in the final grouping of Champions, the only one that guarantees certain access to the Playoffs 12 (next stage of direct elimination). To gain the victory could thus help the Trentino Diatec to reach this first European goal and prepare the return match with greater confidence.
"It's definitely the most important challenge that we play in the first half of the Champions League” - admits Radostin Stoytchev, that in the 2000/01 season dressed the jersey of Tours as a player. - “To win this game means staying ahead of the Pool C and take a major step towards the victory of the that. It will not be easy because the opponents are a team of rank and experience, as evidenced by the libero at their disposal. I know Henno very well for having also coached him, and it will be a great emotion to play against him as well as play another match against Tours. My hope, of course, is that in the end can be a positive emotion guaranteeing us the victory”.
Thanks to the recovery of Urnaut, already in the field from Sunday for a glimpse of the match against Latina, the technical staff will have at its disposal for the first seasonal time in European contest, the entire squad of thirteen players and could decide to enroll it entirely on the scoresheet, bringing De Angelis in the role of a second libero. Trento vs. Tours will be the thirty-ninth European home game in the history of Trentino Volley, the twenty-ninth ever in the Champions League, where up to now got twenty-five victories and only three defeats, the last twenty-one and a half months ago against Belgorod (on February 13th, 2014). Concerning the numbers, for the Company of via Trener the one against the French team will be the 113th international match ever, the sixty-fifth in the Champions League. A match surely particular for Oleg Antonov, another former duty for playing with the jersey of Tours last season centering the transalpine treble (Championship, Cup and National SuperCup).
THE SITUATION OF POOL C
