It will be played this weekend, the eighteenth round of Super League regular season UnipolSai 2015/16. After three away games in the Final Four Del Monte® Italian Cup and the postponement of the previous round of the championship at PalaPanini, Diatec Trentino will return to play at PalaTrento, hosting Exprivia Molfetta. The race will be broadcast live on the television channel RAI Sport 1 and for this reason will be brought forward at 5.00 pm. Live commentary also on Radio Dolomiti.
HERE DIATEC TRENTINO The success achieved on Thursday night at PalaPanini allowed the Italian champions to cancel the previous home league defeat against Ravenna and to keep a safe distance the first contenders Perugia and Verona for the third place in the standings. After the date with Modena, the calendar of Super League offers another chance for redemption against a team that in the recent past gave to the Yellow-blues a displease: Molfetta has in fact imposed the stop to Lanza and teammates in two of the three games played this season. From this aspect Radostin Stoytchev presents the match.
"Exprivia is a formation that during the last months has shown to be able to put us in troubles with its game; so it happened in Puglia and as well less than a month ago also in PalaTrento. It will not be such an easy match and we know it well” - warns Radostin Stoytchev. -”We have prepared carefully, trying to also look at previous games played against them to improve the tactical and technical aspects that previously penalized us more. We are absolutely convinced that to win it will be needed a great performance."
The coach of Diatec Trentino probably should confirm the proposed structure in the five set at PalaPanini, with Antonov diagonally to Urnaut in place 4 to give some breath to Lanza, who is not on his better shape but still available. In three sets the only victory of Diatec Trentino, with partial 25-22, 25-22, 25-13 on December 22nd in PalaPoli in the first leg of the quarters of the Italian Cup. At PalaTrento in four previous three victories of the hosts (all 3-0) and one external affirmation.
REFEREES The meeting will be headed by the tandem of Roberto Boris (first referee of Pavia, in role since 2007 and internationally since 2010) and Diego Pol (second referee of Treviso, in role since 2000 and internationally since 2013), the first joint leadership UnipolSai Super League in 2015/16, the eighth for both. In the regular season underway Boris refereed Diatec Trentino during the 3-0 home victory over Latina on November 29th, while Pol directed Perugia vs. Trento 3-1 on November 8th, 2015.
