It will be played entirely tomorrow, on Sunday 13th December, the eleventh and final round of the first leg of the 2015/16 regular season of Super League UnipolSai. Diatec Trentino will be the main protagonist of the big match of the day, playing in PalaTrento against Cucine Lube Banca Marche Civitanova. The kick-off is scheduled at 5.00 pm, broadcasted live on RAI Sport 2 and Radio Dolomiti.
HERE DIATEC TRENTINO The championship calendar has reserved just for the last act, one of the most awaited match of the entire Trentino Volley home season. For many reasons the challenge against Lube is indeed one of the journey’s highlights of the Italian Champions, who must enforce the law of PalaTrento (unbeaten in Italy for twenty-two consecutive games) to remain in the third place in ranking, to get closer to the same opponent and to get a match in the quarterfinals of the Italian Cup on an easier paper .
Radostin Stoytchev doesn’t hide though, the difficulties of the task that his team is going to face: "We are going to play against one of the strongest teams of the Super League:” - he said - “the Lube has a squad full of talent and alternatives, that allow it to manage the many commitments so far always faced in a positive way. The team plays a very effective volleyball and has great individuality in every role; we will try hard to subvert the prediction but we have to be aware that if we want to win this challenge we will have to play at 110% of our possibilities. We will do our best, as always, till the end."
The coach of Diatec Trentino was able to prepare the match in the last three days with the full squad, working on the many indications that emerged from the Adige derby last Wednesday. The tricolor come to this appointment after four victories in a row between the league and the Champions League and will train for two more sessions with the ball (one today afternoon and one tomorrow).
The match against Lube will be the official race number 626 of the Club of Via Trener, the 393^ in the regular season and will go in search of the Trentino Volley 226^ home victory in its history.
JUANTORENA: FIRST TIME AS A FORMER IN PALATRENTO Osmany Juantorena is preparing to live a double emotion in the match of tomorrow evening; after playing 193 matches with the Trentino Volley’s jersey between 2009 and 2013, winning twelve titles and scoring 2,662 points, the Italo-Cuban spiker of the Lube will play for the first time an official match as opponent of Trento and he will do precisely in the sports hall, where he has played for four years. His return to Trento is one of the interesting part this match.
PREVIOUSLY Lube is one of the teams that Trentino Volley faced many times in official matches: around 45 with 26 victories and 19 defeats. In the three decades of the Yellow-blues history, only Modena (56), Piacenza and Cuneo (47) have a greater tradition; the duel, moreover, has often occurred in matches that have given Italian titles: there are a total of six finals (3 Super Cup, two Italian Cup and a V-Day). Last season both games have given 5 sets to the many spectators present in their respective arenas: the 3-2 victory of Diatec Trentino in PalaTrento on November 29th, 2014, the redemption of Lube with identical score on March 1th, 2015 between the two teams. In front of its home crowd Trentino Volley has won thirteen of the nineteen games against Lube, who managed to conquer the sport hall of via Fersina for the last time on November 10th, 2013 for 1-3.
REFEREES The meeting will be led by the couple of Stefano Cesare (first referee of Rome, in role since 1999 and internationally since 2010) and Simone Santi (second referee of Città di Castello - Perugia in the top serie since 1994 and international FIVB from 2011), the first joint leadership in Super League UnipolSai 2015/16, the sixth for both. A previous season with Trento for both Cesare (he refereed Modena vs. Trento for 3-2 - Italian Super Cup final on October 24th) and Santi, who refereed Forlì vs. Trento for 0-3 on December 15th. Cesare directed as well, as referee, the last confrontation of Yellow-blues vs. Lube (on March 1st, 2015, lost at the tie-break in Civitanova Marche).
TV, RADIO AND INTERNET Trento vs Lube will be a global media event, broadcasted live on any type of media. On television will be broadcast by RAI Sport 2, visible on the digital terrestrial platform and on Sky on channel 228, with comment entrusted to Maurizio Colantoni and Andrea Lucchetta. The game will be streamed also in Internet on www.raisport.rai.it/dl/raisport/multimedia/diretta.html and will count on an intercontinental visibility (fifty nations affiliated) thanks to the broadcasts programmed by Bein Sport Arabia, Bein Sport Usa, Bein Sport France, Sportsklub, Sportsklub Poland, Bandsport, Sky Mexico, Channel 11, OTE, Romtelecom, Cyta, Ct Cinetrade Ag, Sport 5, Cmore, Perform and Img.

The pre-recorded broadcast of the match will be transmitted on Friday, December 14th at 9.15 pm on the regional television channel RTTR, Tv partner of via Trener’s club.
