Valsa Group Modena-Itas Trentino 1-3, the match report

Match report. Angelo Lorenzetti confirmed his Itas Trentino team with the same starting six that had been lined up against Cisterna, three days earlier: Sbertoli serving, Kaziyski as opposite spiker, with Lavia and Michieletto as outside hitters, Podrascanin and Lisinac as middle blockers, Laurenzano as libero. Valsa Group Modena responded with Bruno as setter, Lagumdzija as opposite hitter, Ngapeth and Rinaldi as hitters, Bossi and Krick as middle blockers, Rossini as libero. The guests got off to a determined start; Michieletto, with attack and serve, immediately led his team to a 5-1; Giani called time out and got the desired response, so much so that the tie score was reached as early as 6. Itas Trentino is not ready for it, and with Lisinac's blocks and Michieletto's counter-attacks, it takes off again (15-9); the hosts try to react, but they do so up to 22-20 with Bruno in the lead, before Kaziyski and Michieletto brought the ultimate advantage (25-21).
Modena tried to redeem itself at the start of the second set, coming out of the blocks well (3-5), but Trento replied with Michieletto as usual and was even once again ahead (9-7, Kaziyski's block).
Ngapeth doesn't like the situation and almost single-handedly overturns the scoring situation, putting in a couple of attacks and even an ace (12-13).
Lorenzetti's team changed pace again and went back ahead (17-15), putting a set 5-2 in the name of Podrascanin and Michieletto. It wasn't the decisive break, however, as the Emilians went ahead 17-18 before facing another counter-break (22-20). Kaziyski inflamed himself and led his team to a new 25-21, sealed by Lisinac's quick attack.
Modena try again in the third set with Ngapeth and Lagumdzija (3-6 and 6-9); Trento replays with its weapons of the evening (Podrascanin, Michieletto and Kaziyski) and only reach tie at 21 points after holding up well in the ball change phase up to that point (15-16, 18-19). At the sprint in this case, however, it was the Emilians who got the better of it 25-27, after Itas Trentino had canceled two set balls to their opponents. The point that sends the two teams into the fourth set was signed by Ngapeth (block on Lavia).
The guests smell the danger and return to the court with the determination of their best moments, immediately flying at 5-3 and then 8-4, led by a great Kaziyski. Modena suffers, 12-7, but begins to put the pressure on again with Bruno's serve, climbing back to 12-10. Lorenzetti calls a time-out and gets the desired response from his men, who take off again (15-10). With Matey at defense, they played more and more convincingly towards the final score of 3-1 (21-16 and 25-20).
